Watts Building Company is a residential construction contracting and development firm located in Hood River, Oregon. We specialize in building custom homes for clients, the construction of single and multi family projects for sale, and partnering with investors to develop and sell their properties for profit.

Owner Brian Watts brings over 25 years of combined working experience in every residential building trade. This level of experience combined with our small volume enables us to promote a high level of quality and personal attention to every aspect of our construction projects. While most general contractors experience is typically limited to framing and finish carpentry, Brian’s across the board experience includes 5 years exclusively in kitchen design and construction, as well as completing course work in real estate pre-licensing, property management, and real estate appraisal. As an accomplished cook Brian knows that the kitchen is the heart of a home and that its careful design and execution are paramount to the ultimate enjoyment and satisfaction a home should provide.

As a graduate of The Academy Of Interior Design in Hillsboro, co-owner Jeanie Watts’ participation provides that extra touch that is usually absent from many of the homes offered for sale by builders. We believe that good interior design choices are an essential, rather than optional, part of producing a quality, livable home with appeal that will stand the test of time.

As a significant investment, we believe that a home should be a good economic “fit” to its neighborhood. From conception to completion, care must be taken to select those amenities that are the most desirable for the homeowner and also appropriate to the location and budget. Our varied real estate experience enables us to carefully make these choices to insure that the homes we build are good investments.
